Any samsung m.2 drive works from my experience. Check pibenchmarks.com too for recommendations. If you have more than 2tb of storage, go to nvme.mcpat.com to make it use the whole drive.
Thanks for your answer. I’ve read that some people have problems with the SSD not being recognized. I was planning on buying a 990 Pro in 2TB and just wanted to make sure that it would work. Because the SSD is already very expensive and I don’t want to lose any money.
I have the 4TB 990 Pro and it works on my machine. Hope that clears anything up.
I have an inland 2tb drive and it is working fine. Much cheaper than the Samsung drives. Sold by Micro Center. at time I got it. I payed less than $100 now it looks like they are going for $124.99
