ClamShell mode on ONE UP

Greetings,
I am trying to use my ONE UP in a ClamShell mode (when the lid is closed but the external screen is still accessible) basically in a “docked” mode, but I am not able to tell the OS that it should NOT turn off HDMI-A-1 when the lid is closed.

I am running Raspi OS with KDE Plasma installed, and I know that powerdevil supposed to handle these things, but the GUI settings don’t show any Lid related settings, and none of the usual events (I trusted Chat GPT here) seem to fire when the lid is closed.

Any and all help would be appreciated!

Have you used the included script to change the lid close behavior?

I did, but that only controls whether the device will stay powered on or shutdown after 5 minutes. The screen still turns off in both cases when the lid is closed.

I haven’t tried this myself, but I think in order to get the lid to fire traditional events, you’ll need to check out this post first: [GUIDE] Turn LID GPIO 27 into a standard input device sending lid switch events

If you get it to work, let us know!
