ARGON ONE V3 NVME PI 5 CASE - Cannot remove NVME Cover

Hi there,

I am having trouble removing the NVME cover. I am able to remove 3 screws, but the last screw won’t come out. Not sure, I am using the wrong size screw driver. Could you kindly confirm the screw driver type, I should be using?

Did you manage to identify the correct screw driver? I have not been able to undo any of them!

I sent my unit back as 1 of the screws was jammed. I only just got a replacement as it was out of stock. The screws for the NVME cover is Phillips 0. I haven’t got round to do the other stuff yet.

It’s a Phillips 0 for all the screws.

Just received my case, and can confirm: M.2 heat sink screws are unreasonably tight. I stripped one, but managed to get the other 3. I ended up sacrificing a tiny screwdriver, using some superglue, to get the stripped screw out. Ended up using it with only the remaining 3 screws.

I’m having the same problem now. I can’t remove two of the screws. Customer support is not answering. This is terrible tbh.
