Argon ONE v3 M.2 high pitched noise

Hi,

my ONE v3 M.2 makes a really annoying high pitched noise which sounds kind of electrical.

I made a video of this:

Did anybody have this too and maybe found a solution for it?

Thanks,
cba

The original Pi 5 27W power supply seems to have solved it.

Only for documentation…
Which kind of PSU do you used before? Do you have a more specific model or part number?

Oh, sure.
It was a UGREEN Fast Charger Model CD275.

I’m not sure if it just could not deliver enough power in the end, but it claims to be capable of up to 65 W. Raspberry Pi OS also brought up low voltage messages while using it, which was the reason I ordered the official one.

Thank you for the information.

Undervoltage was expected for that model. In the specification at Ugreen website I only found 5V / 3 A support via USB-C.
For RPi5 in combination with Argon ONE V3 you need a power supply with stable 5.1V / 5A via PD protocol.

You are right, that explains it, thanks.
