do you have any pictures of how you insulated the ribbon and avoided the slot completely?
Thanks!

I’ve had a lot of trouble with my Micron Crucial P3 2TB CT2000P3. Finally
console=tty1 root=PARTUUID=fa8df4ed-02 rootfstype=ext4 fsck.repair=yes rootwait rootdelay=5 nvme_core.io_timeout=255 nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 pcie_aspm=off
these changes to the cmdline.txt got me going. For config.txt I’m sticking with gen2:
[all]
dtparam=pciex1
dtparam=pciex1_gen=2
dtparam=uart0=on
dtparam=nvme
usb_max_current_enable=1
Before I used these settings I had i/o errors (sleepy ssd?), it was sluggish, and on boot the wifi service would sometimes crash, sometimes not. So have to connect to a monitor and re-authenticate the network.
Stable for now. But I haven’t insulated the ribbon or anything, does anyone have a picture of how did that, and how the ribbon looks without using the slot?
Also is it crazy to try and pass gen3 speeds through that tiny ribbon? Thanks!
