EON Running Trixie

I’ve recently wiped my EON and installed Raspberry Pi OS Trixie. I installed the Argon software using the following command:

curl https://download.argon40.com/argoneon.sh | bash

I’ve configured the fan, OLED, etc. to my liking. I have the OLED set to rotate between six of the seven options (no current date/time) and to switch pages every 10 seconds. I have the “Turn OFF OLED Screen when unchanged” option set to 60 seconds. The pages are cycling through correctly but the OLED does not ever turn off.

This is a bit frustrating as leaving the OLED to cycle 24x7 will burn it out (I’m on my third one). This was working previously under Bullseye with the fix from @spooley detailed here.

Can Argon support please fix this?

Thanks.

Hi, are software team is working on it. we’ll update the live server soon.

In the Configure OLED menu, you may disable the display by selecting ‘Enable OLED Display’ (4) and typing ‘N’.

turning off the display when not in use to prolong the lifespan of the module and prevent OLED burn-in.

I have turned the OLED off until the developers release a fix.

Checking back to see if a fixed version has been released.
