what reported with “sudo i2cdetect -y 1”??
I do not understand.
Pleace tell again
Arno
i2cdetect -y 1
scans the I2C bus number 1 for clients/devices.
Usually the fan controller of the Argon ONE should be listed. The sound HATs like the BLSTR DAC are connected via I2S (not the same like I2C). In case of the used chip PCM5122, I would expect the chip is also listed at 0x4d at I2C, because the hifiberry overlay refers to. If the PCM5122 is not listed there, maybe the hardware should be checked for assembling/soldering errors.
Sorry , i answered before direct from link to you, believe it should be answered only here
Ok , will check assembly tomorrow or this evening because it is in my home.
Checked carefully before, and did see no assembly errors…
Been waiting here 2 pcs of nvme duo cards for Argon V5 and they been hold here in custom
because of new EU regulation, quess need more confirmation paper
They just try to stop buing from China, because tracking from airwaybills are not showing
what there is inside for custom
Arno
Checked just my BLSTR DAC and didnt found any visual or installation failure.
I can try to reinstall but dont believe this helps.
Is it possible to force fight drivers there on should i order new one complete unit???
My Argon V5 gears arrive this week finally…
What you suggest to do?
Arno
In the past there was some user reports with bad soldering points. If you have the skills you could grab the magnifying glass, a multimeter and the soldering iron.
The alternative I see is to request spare parts at Argon40/your dealer, but it might be difficult to identify the faulty pcb first - so you could end up with a exchange of the complete Argon ONE V3 unit.
Seldom, but sometimes also the RPi5 was faulty. If you have a second one you could test against this.
If you are in the mood to test with a fresh install, you could try without the NVMe attached. But here was a similar situation like you have: Argon BLSTR DAC not working - #25 by BillB

I got it to work!!
Resoldered all cardpins from V3 case even they was looking good!
Installed argon drivers again and now it works
Jippii!
Thank you for your assistance!!

This is amazing how bad quality those pcb:are, or fault is in solder wich is today without lead
I am radiotecnician ,and we work daily in our service
using soldering irons too.
we use still normal old fashion solder and flux to avoid bad soldering…
